Using BusinessCalc.ca

BusinessCalc.ca provides free online calculators, guides and related content for small business education and planning. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

Estimates, Not Advice

Calculator results are estimates based on the numbers you enter and the formulas shown on each page. They are provided for educational and planning purposes only and do not constitute financial, tax, accounting, legal or investment advice. You are responsible for verifying results and for the decisions you make with them. See the Disclaimer.

Accuracy

We work to keep formulas, default fee values and tax rates accurate and current, and editable fields let you substitute your own figures. Rates, fees and rules change, however, and we cannot guarantee that every default reflects the latest published value at every moment. Verify important figures with the relevant authority or platform.

Acceptable Use

Do not use the site in ways that break the law, disrupt the service, attempt to access it through automated abuse, or misrepresent the site or its content as your own professional advice to third parties.

Intellectual Property

The site's content, design and text belong to BusinessCalc.ca unless otherwise noted. You may link to any page and quote short excerpts with attribution. Third-party names such as Shopify and Etsy are trademarks of their owners; their mention does not imply affiliation or endorsement.

Availability and Changes

The site is provided as is, without warranties of availability or fitness for a particular purpose. We may update, add or remove calculators and content, and may revise these terms, with changes posted on this page.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, BusinessCalc.ca is not liable for losses arising from reliance on calculator results or content. Business decisions carry risk; use the tools as one input among several, including professional advice where appropriate.
